Animal communication is the foundation of all AIT and is what makes it possible.
Animals are communicating with us all the time - all we need to do is to learn their language. They communicate largely through feelings and images and to tune into those, we need to become aware of all the sensory information we receive, including what we see, hear, touch, taste, smell and feel.
In this way, animals are able to send sensory information about the problem or issue they are experiencing. And it is how it's possible to work with the animal to try to understand, process, resolve that problem therapeutically.
Animals I work with
As a therapist, my motivation to communicate with animals is a therapeutic and healing one, so in any communication I believe the animal should experience some form of improvement in emotional, physical, mental or spiritual well-being. I do not offer individual animal communication sessions, but am happy to recommend other communicators who do.
For me, animal communication is an incredibly wonderful tool that I can add to other incredibly wonderful tools to make an animal feel better. As a result, the communications I do are with animals who have emotional or psychologically-based issues where I am incorporating animal communication with other therapies.
