An Overview of AIT

AIT is not just a list of tools. It is about working
with energy, intention and the absolute knowing
that animals are intelligent, self-aware beings.

AIT incorporates specific, effective techniques to make animals feel better.
These techniques can easily be learned and incorporated with what you
already know or practise, but they take time, dedication, sensitivity,
and consistent practice to learn to use effectively.

What is Animal Intuitive Therapy (AIT)?

AIT offers real, practical and tangible help for past trauma issues, anxiety, 'last resort' and other unresolved problems.

It incorporates a flexible combination of psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and intuitive healing techniques, which have been adapted to restore emotional and psychological well-being in animals.

These techniques, combined with animal communication, can be used to help to resolve the underlying, unresolved issues triggering sometimes baffling emotional and behavioural problems.

AIT is safe and non-invasive, and works using all animals' natural means of communication, energy and telepathy.

What animals can benefit from AIT?

AIT can potentially work with any animal experiencing anxiety or trauma-related behaviour, or that has problems which are unexplained or unresponsive to other treatments.

Horses are particularly responsive, especially those experiencing anxiety, low spirits or unexplained behavioural change.

Dogs also respond well where there has been past neglect, abandonment or abuse. Significant results are more likely when there is also ongoing positive leadership and (if needed) behaviour training.

How is past trauma affecting your animal?

Severe, persistent or unexplained behavioural problems, with no underlying physical or other known cause, can be the most complex for trainers, vets and other healing practitioners to resolve.

These problems can be the outward manifestation of underlying, unresolved issues resulting from a past negative or traumatic event. This event could have been major or minor, but it was enough to cause a significant emotional response at the time.

Associated highly-charged emotions can be triggered by any objects, people or situations that repeat some aspect of the original event. These triggers can seem bizarre or irrational, but they are frighteningly real to the animal.

Often it is hard or impracticable to pinpoint the original event (or events).  All you know is you is have a horse that spooks, a dog that shakes or a pony with an overnight personality change, and nothing has worked.

How does AIT work?

AIT relies on energy, intention and empathy to share and mutually resolve trauma memories. You can find an overview in layman's terms of how AIT works by clicking on How Does AIT Work.

Is AIT compatible with veterinary care?

Yes, very. AIT works at emotional, spiritual and psychological levels and is highly complementary to normal veterinary and holistic care.

Your animal remains your vet's responsibility and you will need to confirm he has been (or will be) vet or chiropractor checked for any underlying medical or physical issues.

AIT offers real, practical and tangible help.
It can be tailored to each animal, is 100% safe
and non-invasive, and works using an animal's
natural form of communication, energy and telepathy.
