How Can AIT Help

Horse - mare and foal in field

Premature separation in a young horse's life can
cause unnecessary trauma that manifests in a
variety of ways, including trust issues, undesirable
stable manners and separation anxiety.

Many physical and behavioural problems are caused, triggered or exacerbated by imbalance at emotional, psychological or spiritual levels.  AIT seeks to identify the origin of a problem and resolve it using a variety of techniques.  In almost all cases, AIT has offered or led to a quantifiable improvement in well-being.

Problems or issues AIT can help with include:

- Emotional & psychological problems or blocks
- Behavioural problems with an unknown cause
- Physical symptoms & repeating injuries with an unknown or underlying emotional cause
- Sporting & public performance
- Long-standing, unexplained or unresolved problems

Specific problems include:

- Anxiety, fears & phobias
- Past trauma & post-traumatic stress (PTSD), including dissociative states
- Low spirits & depression
- Sudden or inexplicable behavioural change
- Attitude & motivation issues
- Pain management during recovery
- Anger and/or resistance
- Fertility, obstetrics & mare-foal bonding
- Human-animal relationships
- Bereavement & loss
- Performance problems based on past negative experience

AIT has proven consistently helpful in treating 'last resort' cases who have failed to respond to any other treatment.

Some AIT feedback

"I emailed Brigid A photo of [my mare] and told her nothing about her history... absolutely everything she came up with, I could verify with either the breeder or the previous owner... I thank you for your help and the trust you have placed in your process... Your genuine gift and honesty is much needed in this world.  Bless you."
Karen Fullbrook, Equine Management Consultant

"Bo is much calmer and much more happy to work.  He isn't kicking the stable and the last two times I have worked with him he hasn't bucked!  Billy is being better to ride, but still having a tantrum about cantering when I ride him.  He is happy now in walk and trot.  He has also stopped turning his back on me in the stable which is great. Thanks."

I believe I know my horses well, but I would not hesitate in asking for Brigid or Peter's help with any of them - there is an amazing sense of comfort in not only knowing your animals, but really understanding and being able to help them."
