More About Healing

If you stub your toe, what do you do?  If your child or animal is in pain, what do you do?

The truth of it is, human touch is innate in us.  Despite social boundaries and rules of etiquette, we still have the strong instinct to touch someone in pain. We instinctively 'know' that pain, fear and discomfort are soothed and healed by the presence of gentle, reassuring and loving hands. Hands that, simply through a focused desire (intent) to help, are filled with healing energy. Where you believe that energy comes from is up to you.  The fact is, it works.

Everyone is born with a natural ability to channel healing energy. We just need to realise it exists and learn how to harness it. There are many different techniques to help you do this, under almost as many different names. But healing is just healing, whatever name is given to it.

By plugging yourself into the "spiritual socket", so to speak, by whatever means, you raise your vibration to its highest level. And when you are resonating at your highest vibration, the moment you connect with a person or animal who is out of balance, you allow them to raise their vibration to the same level as yours, bringing their body into balance and enabling it to heal in whatever way it chooses.

Any healing that involves any mental or physical effort is really just coming from the Ego.  When we catch ourselves thinking along the line of:

"I want to make this person feel better"
"I know I can help this animal feel better"
"I can't do this"
"I must be doing this the wrong way"
"I'm rubbish at this - I can't heal!"

then, chances are, these thoughts are coming from our Ego. This is ok because the Ego just wants to protect us from being hurt, but we do have to learn to put it aside.

For a start, we don't heal anyone - the recipient heals him/herself.  Deep healing happens from a place of unconditional love, when you put that little Ego (the "I") aside, relax and allow healing energy to channel through you, and allow the recipient, who's body is doing all the work, to get on with its job.

Whether we call that healing energy Reiki, spiritual, bio-energy, quantum, psychic or any other kind of healing, it's all just universal energy and it's all around us all the time.

If you would be interested in learning skills and techniques to develop your healing abilities, deal with unconscious blocks and self-doubts, and learn new techniques and tools to help to bring balance and healing to animals at a deeper level, then please visit the Workshops & Events page for details of all current workshops.
