Muscle Testing (Kinesiology)

Horse - mare and foal together

If you think of something negative or sad, your energy drops and your body goes into a state of weakness. If you think of something positive and joyful, your energy increases and your body becomes stronger.  This is the fundamental basis of Kinesiology.

Kinesiology is a way of bypassing the conscious mind and asking the body direct questions and applying gentle pressure on parts of the body to test for strength or weakness. This is called 'muscle testing'.

With animals it's possible to do this using a human surrogate.  The person focuses on the animal, a question is asked (verbally, intentionally or by holding an object, in the case of testing a substance, for example) and then pressure is applied to a muscle group (usually an extended arm).  Depending on the answer, the arm will either stay firm or lower (ie. the energy weakens).

This has been proven to be highly effective when done correctly, as it bypasses conscious will and strength (as tested by a champion strongman) and taps into the origins of whatever is causing weakness in the body.

It's fairly straightforward to self-muscle test (one method involves just the fingers). However for greater accuracy it's often easier to work with a proxy.
